We often get asked how long does a Trophy Rock last and what is happening when some of my rocks disappear in only two weeks?

This will vary depending on deer use, set-up and weather conditions. Generally a 12lb Trophy Rock when elevated on a stump will last 4-6 weeks in the East and 8-10 weeks in the West. If sitting in a puddle of rainwater on the ground they can disappear to the eye (dissolve) in a matter of days. Keep in mind if that occurs not all is lost as all the minerals are still there sitting in the soil for the deer to use.
